Inside the Perfumer's Atelier

Where Tenderness Meets Wilderness

I compose my artisanal fragrances from a natural palette. It contains only essential oils, absolutes, and CO2 extracts. And there are no synthetic aroma chemicals.

Not out of principle, nor because it's "the right way," and not because "synthetic musks will make everyone stop reproducing and get sick" (though, admittedly, my head can't quite tolerate them).

I choose the ingredients for my scents the same way I choose sourdough bread or a rough ceramic mug—because I love the sensation.

Synthetic aromas often boast a kind of brilliance — radiant, enduring, pristine.
Yet I find kinship with the breath of the unfiltered and wild.
My choice is not a statement that "natural is better." It is an invitation to feel my own existence — the real me, right here, connected to my body and my breath.

The natural palette does not strive to be convenient or uniform. It is at times unexpected, at times tender, at times suddenly strange. Yet it is precisely this diversity that provides a sense of grounding: the earth beneath your feet, the wind at your window, the simple "I am."

And yes, this, too, is a choice—not for the sake of efficiency, nor for the sake of perfection. But for the pleasure of living in a world that is complex, fluid, and ever-changing.

From this point of pleasure, I create my scents—wild, beautiful, and untamed.

Like nature.
